The George Mason golf team finished the rain-shortened sixth annual Seahawk Intercollegiate 14th overall. The two day event, shortened to 36 holes after rain on Sunday, was played at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, NC.
The Patriots were led by Eric Edwards (76-79=155) with a 11-over par two-round score on the par 72 course. He finished tied for 59th overall. Kyle Hart recorded a 77, a Mason-best today.
Nationally ranked Duke won the tournament by seven strokes, defeating host UNCW, who finished at seven-under par. Army finished a distant third shooting even par.
The Patriots travel to Greenville, NC Apritl 4-5 for the two-day East Carolina Intercollegiate.
