FAIRFAX, Va. – Over the weekend, George Mason jumper Talisha Watts pulled off the rare feat of winning the same event twice.

On Tuesday, her successful double dip notched her second Atlantic 10 Conference weekly honor of the year. The A-10 tabbed Watts as the Women's Performer of the Week, her second such award in a month.

Watts, a graduate student from Lynchburg, Va., competed in two separate meets in Boston last weekend, winning the high jump in both. On Friday at the Crimson Elite Invitational at Harvard, she set a personal best with a jump of 1.76 meters to secure first place. Then, on Saturday at the Scarlet and White Invitational at Boston University, she won with a leap of 1.70 meters before raising the bar and taking several attempts at 1.79.

Watts, the A-10 outdoor high jump champ, and the Patriots will take this weekend off before competing at the Atlantic 10 Championships on Feb. 20-21 at Rhode Island.
