FAIRFAX, Va. – After collecting its second straight team title, the George Mason men's track and field team moved up in the Southeast Region rankings.

The Patriots climbed up a spot to No. 14 in the Southeast Region after jumping into the rankings last week. Mason sits ahead of No. 15 East Carolina and just behind No. 13 Duke.

The Patriots finished first at the Scarlet and White Invitational at Boston University on Saturday and took second at the Crimson Elite Invitational at Harvard on Friday. Some of the strong performers over the weekend included Bernard Freeman (60-meter, 200-meter dash, 4x400 relay team), Steven Flynn (mile), Raeshawn Bishop (triple jump) and Kornelius Klah (60-meter high hurdles).

Both the men's and women's teams take off this weekend before heading to Rhode Island on Feb. 20-21 for the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships.
