The Mason women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to former CAA conference foe Delaware over the weekend at Elkton Indoor Tennis. The Blue Hens move to 3-1, Mason falls to 3-6.

The Blue Hens swept double action to earn the first point of the match. Mason would have to earn their two points in singles matches, and both wins would extend to three sets.

The Green and Gold's Morgan Yang defeated Sara Komer at the number three singles, 6-4, 1-6, 10-4. At the four spot, Mason's Esu Erdenebat lost the first set 4-6, but rallied in the second for a 6-2 set win. In the final set she would prevail 10-8 against the Blue Hens Sarah Hall.

One other match would stretch to the tiebreaker, at number six Delaware's Draga Sabotic would defeat Mason's Olivia Lacy-Thompson, 6-4, 4-6, 10-5.

Mason is back on the court against A-10 opponent Davidson on Saturday, February 27th at Montclair Country Club.
