Caitlyn de la Haba announced on Monday the 2017 dates for the
Joe Verbanic Five Tool Softball Camps at George Mason, which will be broken into nine sections in January.
The camps begin on Jan. 8 with the Mason Softball Pitching Camp, which will be divided into three different age groups ranging from 8 to 18. The cost is $30 for players 13 and under and $60 for players age 14-18.
A week later, on Jan. 15, the coaches will offer the Mason Softball High School Hitting & Pitching Camp ($60) and the Mason Softball High School Defense Camp ($60), which are also offered as a package for a reduced price of $110. The session will be open for children between ages 13 and 18.
The High School All Skills Camp will take place on Jan. 22 for players between ages 13 and 18, for a cost of $120.
The final date of the
Joe Verbanic Five Tool Softball Camps at George Mason will be Jan. 29, when coaches Verbanic and de la Haba will break the four-hour slot into the Youth All Skills Camp I ($60), which will be offered to children between the ages 8 and 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and the Youth All Skills Camp II ($60), which will engage children between ages 11 and 13 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. All proceeds from the clinics on Jan. 29 will be invested in the George Mason softball program and the Patriots themselves will be present in both sessions to further motivate the participating youngsters.
