Winter Youth Baseball Camps

FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason head baseball coach Billy Brown announced the dates for the 2017 Winter Youth Baseball camps that will be held at George Mason's Field House in Fairfax, Va.

The youth baseball camps are designed to provide players between the ages of 7 and 13 the opportunity to expand their baseball skills. 

The hitting camp will be conducted Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.  The four-week Sunday hitting camp is designed to enhance fundamental hitting technique and will provide drills and repetitions to prepare players for the spring season.

The youth infield camp will take place on Jan. 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and focus on the building blocks that make a great infielder.  The youth pitching camp will take place on Jan. 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will include instruction aimed at developing proper mechanics, grips, arm care and conditioning.  Registration for both camps begins at 6 p.m.

The All-Star Patriot Package costs $225.00 and includes the four-week hitting camp, the infield camp and the pitching camp.  The Youth Patriot Combo Pack is $200.00 and includes the four-week hitting camp and the choice of either the pitching or fielding camp. 

Individually, the cost for the four-week hitting camp is $150.00, the infield camp is $65.00 and the pitching camp is $65.00.

Brown is in his 36th season as the head coach of the Patriots.  Mason assistant coaches Tag Montague, Brian Pugh and Justin Walker will provide additional instruction as part of the camp coaching staff.
