Fairfax, Va. - Are you an avid softball fan and player? Do you dream of one day donning the logo and colors of your school around the best Div. I facilities in the nation? If "yes", then save the dates Oct. 23-25, 2015, because the Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Showcase is back!
Mason's softball staff headed by head coach Joe Verbanic and assistant coach Megan Blank are organizing the camp to provide high school athletes between ages 13 and 18, who have Div. I softball aspirations, with the opportunity to show their skills in front of college coaches and recruiters from the region.
The three-day camp, which costs $300 per entry, will challenge participants to demonstrate the best of their offensive, defensive, pitching, catching and base-running skills in front of the eyes of coaches from George Washington, Cornell, Penn State and Lynchburg College. Further evaluation will be conducted during game play.
