The Patriots jumped out to an early lead as the No.2 duo
Tanner Baine and
Daniel Gutierrez defeated Peter Dewitt and Reiner Moolman 8-4. Jimmy Lange and
Joe Hill clinched the doubles point with an 8-5 win over Andres Urrea and Kyle Chalmers at No. 1.
In singles play the Hawks evened the score 1-1 when Tristan Boustany beat Conor Moran 6-1, 6-4 at No.5. Tanner Baine gave the Patriots the 2-1 lead with a score of 6-4,6-3 over Andres Urrea at No.4. The Patriots extended their lead to 3-1 after Aaron Capitel beat Pierre Brondeau 6-4,6-4 at No. 2. The Hawk's Kyle Chalmers beat Joe Hill with a score of 3-6,6-3,6-3 at No.3 to close the gap to 3-2. At No.1 singles Jimmy Lange came back after dropping the first set 4-6 to win the next two sets 6-3,6-2 over Reiner Moolman and clinch the team match for the Patriots.
