FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason softball team is set to travel to Mount St. Mary's for a midweek non-conference doubleheader tomorrow. The Patriots are coming off a series sweep of Rhode Island in conference play last weekend.

The Mount comes into this series on a nine-game losing streak with their last win against Bryant on March 28. Niki Gonzalez leads the Mount with a .325 batting average. The freshman catcher also has four homeruns and 16 RBI. Morgan Allsauckas leads the Mount with six homeruns and 18 RBI on the season.
Marian Ruf leads the Mount's pitching staff with 15 starts and a 5.29 ERA. Ruf is 2-13 on the season and has 53 strikeouts.
The Patriots come into this series on a four-game win streak after sweeping Rhode Island. After the sweep, Mason moved up to fourth place in the Atlantic 10 standings.
Liz Seymour has been on fire for Mason and has improved her batting average to a team-high .361. Seymour was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week for her efforts against Rhode Island. Sarah Solano has also been terrific at the plate for Mason and hit 6 RBI against the Rams on her way to being named the College Sports Madness A-10 Player of the Week.
