Freshman goalkeeper Taylor Carpentier earned her second Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week nod of the season following Sundays 8-5 win over Richmond.
Carpentier registered a save percentage of 58.8 over two games, notching 20 saves on the weekend. After snagging seven in the Patriots' loss to Davidson on Friday, the Garden City, N.Y. native had 13 stops in the win over Richmond including four in the last 11 minutes of action to help maintain the Patriots' leads. On the season, the 5'10” keeper is second in the A-10 and 20th in NCAA Division-I lacrosse in saves at 113.
The Patriots continue their home-stand Friday when they host St. Bonaventure at 4 p.m.
