FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason softball team is set to continue conference play in a weekend series with St. Bonaventure. The Patriots most recently split a midweek doubleheader with George Washington on Wednesday.

The Bonnies come into this series after six of its last ten games have been cancelled. Most recently, the Bonnies were swept by La Salle after sweeping George Washington. St. Bonaventure fell to Dayton in three games earlier this season as well.
Emily Mcdonough leads the Bonnies with a .406 batting average and a .449 on base percentage. Kelli Rohan isn't too far behind with a .349 batting average. Catcher Lauren Waite leads the Bonnies with two homeruns this season. Josie Borysevicz leads the Bonnies pitching staff with a 6-6 record and a 3.48 ERA in 12 starts.
Liz Seymour and Brooke Blankenship have been on fire for the Patriots, raising their batting averages to .344 and .343, respectively. They have also brought in a combined 43 RBI for the Patriots this season. Each of the two hitters hit a homerun in the win against George Washington on Wednesday.
Christina Gabriele, Sarah Kleinfelter, and Casey Herring pitched well against the Colonials earlier this week, with the three pitchers giving up only four earned runs in the series.
