WILMINGTON, NC - The George Mason Men's Golf team finished the final round on Monday at the Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington, NC at the Country Club of Landfall. The Patriots finished in 12th place in the competition with a total score of 935 for the three rounds (322+303+310).
Freshman Brock Kovach led the way for the Patriots firing a 75 in Monday marking the low round of the tournament for the Patriots. Kovach finished in a tie for 55th place after bouncing back with consecutive rounds of 75 after an opening round 84. Freshman Eric Edwards continued his steady play with a round of 79 on Monday after back to back rounds of 78 on Sunday.
The young Patriots were able to rally in round two on Sunday and kept up the effort on Monday to give the team some momentum heading into the off week.
The Patriots will next tee off at the Liberty Spring Invitational in Lynchburg, VA April 10-11.
