The Billikens were able to win both games against the Patriots last season in Fairfax in two close matchups, 5-3 and 2-1.  Saint Louis comes into this series after taking two of three games against Fordham and then splitting a series with Dayton.

Saint Louis packs some power in their lineup this season, so far hitting 30 homeruns as a team.  Alex Nicole leads the Billikens with a .400 batting average with four homeruns and 15 RBI.  Allie Macfarlane leads the team with 26 RBI while batting .367 with five homeruns. Meanwhile Lindsay Friedman has a team-best seven homeruns on a .333 batting average.

Briana Lore leads the Billiken pitching staff with a 2.06 ERA on a 7-7 record this season.  Laney Kneib and Maddie Baalman aren't too far behind with 3.55 and 3.92 ERA's, respectively.

The Patriots come into this series after winning two of three games against UMass and then sweeping Morgan State earlier this week.  Mason continued its impressive pitching this week against the Bears, with Sarah Kleinfelter, Casey Herring, and Christina Gabriele giving up no runs and just six total hits.

The Green and Gold added some power also this week, with Brooke Blankenship, Liz Seymour, and Breanna Boyd each hitting a homerun in the second game against Morgan State.  As a team, the Patriots were successful at the plate, picking up 15 hits in the two-game series.
