HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL- The Mason Men's golf team completed 36 of the 54 hole tournament today at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular. The Patriots are currently in 13th place out of 18 teams.
Virginia Tech currently leads the field, opening up a 10 stroke lead on second place East Carolina. East Carolina's George Kilgore leads the individual scoring with a 4 under par followed by Penn's Austin Powell, one stroke behind at 3 under par.
The Patriots were paced by Brock Kovach who carded a two round total of 153, 9 over par. Ellis Messian carded the low round for the Patriots with a 73 in round one.
The final round will be completed Sunday morning.
