Junior Kyle Hart is tied for fourth place after the first round of the Maryland Terrapin Invitational played at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md. He leads Mason with a one-under 71 on the par-72, 7,250 yard North Course. 

Hart won the tournament last year with a three round 214 (68-74-72). Due to frost, the event was delayed until 12:45 p.m. today and shortened from three to two rounds. The 11 teams competing will play the second and final round Tuesday beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The host Terrapins lead the tournament carding a four-over as a team with a score of 292 after the first round of 18. Mason is currently in 11th with a 305. Only only six strokes separate 6th through 11th place.
