GoMason.com: Why did you choose to run for George Mason?
Lampen-Crowell: I chose George Mason because the program offered me a chance to run at the Division one level that I wouldn't be afforded at many other schools. I'm from Michigan and the prospect of moving to a new area with a new atmosphere of competition was very attractive to me.
GoMason.com: What are your goals for the remainder of the season?
Lampen-Crowell: Most importantly, to be a high impact runner for our team and do what I need to in championship races to make sure we're successful. On an individual level my goals are top 5 in the conference and top 25 in the Southeast Region.
GoMason.com: Who is your inspiration for running, who do you look up to the most?
Lampen-Crowell: Nick Willis from New Zealand is a professional runner I look up to most. His work ethic is incredible and he's a runner who has had to make incredible sacrifices all his life in order to enjoy the successes he's had.
GoMason.com: What kind of activities do you do in the offseason to keep in shape?
Lampen-Crowell: I do a lot of weight training that focuses on muscle imbalances to help me stay healthy throughout the year.
GoMason.com: How do you spend your free time?
