FAIRFAX, Va. – Michael Conway has been selected as the Atlantic 10 Men's Performer of the Week after his performance at the James Madison Invitational this past weekend.

The fifth-year senior took first place with an impressive time of 24:45.90 in the 8k.  Conway's time also ranks fifth all-time in course history at New Market Battlefield.  The West Hartford, Connecticut native also helped guide the Patriots to a third place overall finish.

Conway was an All-Conference selection last season after being the Patriots top finisher in all three championship races.

Up next for the Patriots is the Mason Invitational on Saturday, October 4.  George Mason will be hosting the event at the Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, Virginia.
