Shavon Briscoe advanced to Saturday semi-finals in the women's 100m hurdles as the Patriots wrap up Day two at the NCAA East Prelims.
Briscoe finished 24th overall with a time of 13.55 to round out the group of semi-finalists Friday. She will return to the track looking to advance to the NCAA finals in Oregon Saturday at 7:20 pm.
Daianna Barron failed to qualify to the finals in the women's 400m dash with a 17th place finish, setting a new personal record with a time of 53.47.
In addition to Briscoe, Bethany Sachtleben will compete in the women's 5000m run and the Patriots will look to qualify for a trip to Oregon in both the men's and women's 4x400m relay.
