The Mason women's tennis team came up on the short end of the 6-1 score with the Delaware Blue Hens. Both teams battled the windy conditions at the Mason Tennis Courts.
Delaware jumped out to a 1-0 lead after sweeping doubles play. The Blue Hens didn't have any trouble at #1 doubles, but the #2 and #3 matches played to a 8-6 score.
The Patriots earned their point in the last match to finish at #6 singles. Mason's
Esu Erdenebat returned to her first action since injuring her ankle on Feb. 8th, defeating Kim Milla in three sets 6-2, 3-6, 10-6.
