The George Mason golf team finished tied for ninth with Francis Marion University at the Wolfpack Spring Open at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C. Due to rain, today's final round was the only round of the tournament.
Mason was led by Kyle Hart and Mark Folkwein who each finished tied for 21st overall with a score of 75, three over par. Zack Lauzon was right behind them with a five over par 77 on the day. As a team Mason shot a combined score of 305.
The University of Virginia posted the best-combined team score of the day with a score of 292, led by David Pastore shooting an even par 72, which was tied for the fourth best individual score. Logan Harrell of NC State posted the best individual score with a five under par 67 on the day.
This was the Patriots final tournament of the regular season before the A-10 Championships which will begin Friday, April 25.
