The Patriots (6-3) six game win streak ended Wednesday night with a 15-3 loss at American University (4-7).

Mason fell behind 8-0 before Katie Mascolo scored the Patriots' first goal with 15 minutes left in the first half. AU would score twice more before the break, taking a 10-1 lead into the half.

The Eagles would go up 10 goals to start a running clock and register three more unanswered goals before Brooke Lorber would find the back of the net on a free position shot as would Rachel Obregon.

Mason was outshot 29-18 and took just six shots on goal compared to AU's 22.

Mason takes time off before opening conference play against St. Bonaventure Friday, April 4.
