The George Mason golf team improved slightly in round two of the sixth annual Wyoming Cowboy Desert Intercollegiate played at The Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. The Patriots cut one stroke off their first round score to finish 305 today for a 611 total going into the final round tomorrow.
Mason has two players in the top 50. Zack Lauzon leads the Patriots with a two-round two-under par 142 and stands in a tie for 26th. Lauzon carded an even par 72 today. Kevin Yerks shot par today after a first-round one-over par 73.
The final round begins at 7 am PT on Sunday.
