The George Mason wrestling team won its second consecutive dual on Saturday, defeating the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats 28-10 in Lancaster, Pa.
The Patriots won their first six matches and never looked back, taking eight out of 10 in the dual. Ibrahim Bunduka and Vincent Rodriguez opened with decisions of 9-3 and 5-2, respectively, before Sahid Kargbo defeated Robert Ruiz 13-4 for a major decision and a 10-0 team lead.
Konbeh Koroma and Greg Flournoy each won their matches in decision fashion along with Matt Meadows at 197lbs. Jake Kettler recorded the lone fall for Mason on the evening, pinning Alex Henry in 6:12 to finalize the 28-10 score.
The Patriots return to the mat at the Grapple at the Garden on December 21 in New York. Mason wrestles Duke and Drexel in the competition.
