FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason swimming & diving teams travel to compete in the Richmond Duals from Friday, October 17 to Saturday, October 18, hosted by the University of Richmond.
Schools competing in the Duals include Mason, Richmond, Duquesne and conference newcomer Davidson. Pairings for the dual matchps were randomly drawn by the Atlantic 10 Conference and announced on Twitter on Monday October 13.
Participating men's teams, Mason and Davidson, will compete in one lasting dual over the weekend in meet three. On Friday, the women's competition will be scored in two separate dual meets with Mason and Duquesne facing off in meet one with Richmond and Davidson meeting in the second. Saturday's match-ups will be announced. For the women, the two women's teams with the highest scores will advance to compete with one another in heat two on Saturday, with the other two schools facing off in heat one.
All three dual meets will occur concurrently with heat one of each event containing two women's teams, heat two containing two women's teams, and heat three containing men from Davidson and Mason. Each swimmer will be scored against their heat only.
The swimming portion of the meet begins at 5 p.m. at the Greater Richmond Aquatics Partnership and continues at 10:15 on Saturday. Diving begins on Friday at the University of Richmond Robins Center at 4:30 p.m., continuing on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
