FAIRFAX, Va.  – The George Mason wrestling team (4-6) will play host to Gardner-Webb (4-8) on Sunday evening in the teams' second home dual meet of the season. The first match is scheduled for 7 p.m. on January 5 in the Recreation and Athletic Complex.

The team most recently sent two groups of wrestlers to the 2013 Cradle Gear Invitational and the 51st Ken Kraft Midlands Championships over the weekend. Greg Flournoy placed second overall at 157lbs. at the Cradle Gear Invitational while Shohei Takagi and Ryan Hunsberger placed third and fourth at 149lbs., respectively. Blake Roulo won three matches in a sixth place overall finish at Midlands at 149lbs. along with Sahid Kargbo, who placed in the top-12 in his weight class of 141lbs.

Gardner-Webb also sent wrestlers to the Cradle Gear Invitational where Austin Trott took home the title at 165lbs. and three other wrestlers captured top-4 finishes in the event. The last dual meet for the Runnin' Bulldogs came on December 16 when they fell to Chattanooga, 35-3.
