George Mason University Dance and Cheer teams participated in the 2014 College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship, held this past weekend at Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Fla.

The Masonettes placed third in the Division I Pom, the fourth consecutive year in the top three. The Green and Gold's spirit squad was fourth after the semi-final round and moved up a spot to earn medal honors. The team from North Dakota State University won the competition, followed by Cal State Fullerton. The Atlantic 10's St. Joseph's University placed sixth.
