The George Mason golf team began their 2013 fall seasn at the Tiger Turning Stone Intercollegiate in Verona, N.Y. today. After the first two rounds on the par-72 Kaluhyat Golf Course in upstate New York, the Patriots are in ninth place in the 14-team tournament.

Mason has three players in the top 25 overall led by Zack Lauzon, who carded on one-under par 71 in the second round to finish the day with a two-over 146. He heads into the final round tied for 17th. Senior Kevin Yerks began his day with a 71, but fell back to 20th overall with a four-over par 76 in the afternoon. Freshman Kyle Har began his collegiate career today with a two-round 148 (76-72).

 The final round will be played on Monday.
