GAINESVILLE, FLA. – On a day dedicated to relays and field events, the George Mason track and field team wrapped up action at the Florida Pepsi Relays on Saturday in Gainesville.

For the women, the 4x100m relay of Crystalyne Clark, Cierra McGee, Katea Jemmott and Shavon Briscoe bested their previous ECAC qualifying mark, finishing 20^th in a time of 46.05. In the 4x200m relay, the 'A' relay of Briscoe, Daianna Barron, Dominique Graham and Clark crossed the line in seventh place with a time of 1:36.11. The 'B' squad finished 24^th, as TaNay Chandler, Jemmott, Jasmine Robinson and Taylor Wheaton finished in 1:41.50.

In the final competition of the night, Mason's 4x400m relay 'A' group consisting of Barron, McGee, Wheaton and Graham finished 10^th (3:34.98). The 'B' group of Briscoe, Robinson, Clark and Kristin Bethel was 40^th with a time of 3:51.06. Both times were ECAC qualifiers.

On the men's side, the squad of Travaughn Baker-Johnson, David Verburg, Adrian Vaughn and Da'Quan Smalls finished 14^th with a time of 41.01. The time did not improve upon its previous qualifying time set last weekend at the Raleigh Relays.

The 4x200m squad of Vaughn, Angel Coburn, Verburg and Smalls captured a sixth place finish at 1:24.20. Coburn, John Jones, Smalls, and Anthony Williams combined for a 29^th place finish in the 4x400m (3:16.53), also an IC4A qualifying time.
