NEWS & NOTES
The George Mason softball team hosts Delaware for a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series starting this Saturday at 12 p.m.

Mason enters the series with a 9-23 overall record and is currently 2-4 in conference play. The Patriots recently went 0-2 in a doubleheader with the University of Virginia this past Wednesday. Brooke Blankenship still leads the Patriots offensively hitting .309 with 30 hits, 10 doubles, two home runs and 22 RBI's.

Delaware also recently fell in a doubleheader with Army this past Tuesday.  Lara Andrews leads the Blue Hens offense hitting .368 with 39 hits, seven doubles, three home runs and 19 RBI's. Jessica Grisler is just behind Andrews hitting .358 with 38 hits, four doubles, two triples, one home run and nine RBI's.
