The Patriots and Colonials square off for the final time this season, meeting at Barcroft Park on Tuesday to complete a home-and-home series. GW took the first meeting earlier this month, putting four runs on the board in the top of the ninth to complete a wild come from behind win at Spuhler Field, 11-9.

Mason enters the game 15-31 overall, most recently dropping a weekend series at William and Mary. The Tribe won Friday before the Patriots responded with a strong winning performance on Saturday, however, the Patriots were unable to close out the series as they fell in the rubber match on Sunday. Junior infielder Blaise Fernandez has started all 46 games for the Patriots and leads the team at the plate hitting .354 with 64 hits, 17 doubles, 24 RBI's and 25 runs scored.

GW is 16-28 this season and last took to the field this weekend against James Madison in non-conference action. The two squads split a doubleheader at Barcroft Park on Saturday before the Dukes earned a big 14-5 win on Sunday in Harrisonburg. Justin Albright has started all but one game for the Colonials and is hitting a team-best .288 with 45 hits, nine doubles and 21 runs scored, while Owen Beightol has a team-leading 22 RBI's and is hitting .262.
