The Patriots will compete in split squad action over the weekend, sending individuals to both the W&L/VMI Track Carnival and W&M Tribe Open.

It is the second weekend of outdoor competition for Mason, after opening the season at the VCU Rams Invitational a week ago. The men and women won a combined five events, had 29 athletes place and set 25 personal records in addition to two ECAC qualifying marks at the meet.

Senior Mandissa Marshall posted a height of 4.00m in the pole vault to qualify for the ECAC Outdoor Championships, and was joined by the 4x400m relay of Cierra McGee, Taylor Wheaton, Aneesha Scott and Shavon Briscoe who won the event and recorded a qualifying time of 3:48.24.

On the men's side, Sean Daugherty won the pole vault with a height of 4.65m, helping him to earn CAA Male Field Athlete of the Week honors.
