NOTE: The George Mason track and field team was also set to compete at the Valentine Invitational on the campus of Boston University this weekend. However, the meet has been cancelled due to a severe winter storm that will affect the Northeast this weekend.

Both the men's and women's teams broke into the USTFCCCA Regional Rankings this week, with the women standing in ninth place while the men reside in 14th place in the Southeast Region. It is the first ever Top-10 ranking for the women during the indoor season.

This season, the Patriots have several individuals ranked in the Top 25 nationally, including senior David Verburg in the 500m (46.26, 4th), senior Cierra McGee in the 400m (53.73, 14th) and junior Mandissa Marshall (4.00m, 24th) and freshman Jasmine Moser (4.00m, 24th) in the pole vault. Additionally, the women's 4x400m relay stands 18th with a time of 3:40.40, while the men's 4x400m relay is 25th (3:11.62).
