The George Mason women's tennis fell to George Washington 7-0 this evening at Montclair Country Club in Montclair, Va. The Colonials swept all the matches, six singles and three doubles matches in the contest.

In doubles, the No. 3 match went the distance, but the Colonial's duo of Christina Carpenter and Stephanie Wei defeated Mason's Esu Erdenebat, 8-7(6).

George Washington swept all six singles matches. At the top singles match Lana Robins defeated Brittany Pilkington, 6-2, 6-2. Mason's Maya Hicks battled at No. 2 singles, but fell by a 6-4, 6-1 score.

The Green and Gold will return to action on Saturday, February 23 when they host Radford at 5 pm at Monclair Country Club.
