FAIRFAX, Va. - Senior swimmer Joey Kelly represented George Mason University in the first day of competition at the U.S. AT&T Winter National Championshios in Knoxville, Tenn on Thursday. 

Kelly raced in the men's 50-yard freestyle preliminaries this morning, placing 63rd overall with a time of 21.11. The top 24 morning times advanced to the A, B, and C finals in the afternoon. 

All five Patriot athletes are scheduled to compete on Friday, December 6, beginning with preliminary heats of the women's 100-yard butterfly as the first event for Mason. Live results can be followed here.
