FAIRFAX, Va. – Junior Blake Roulo was one of six Patriots to wrestle unattached in the Lock Haven Mat Town Open on Sunday, December 1, winning his weight class of 149lbs.
Roulo won his first three matches with victories by the scores of 9-7, 5-3 and 13-5 before reaching the championship bout at 149lbs. The junior was able to earn the victory with a 9-6 tally over T.J. Miller from the University of Virginia to be crowned tournament champion.
Other wrestlers to compete in the Open were Ibrahim Bunduka at 125lbs., Zachary Isenhour at 141lbs., Sean Raftery at 165lbs. and both Alex Thomas and Andrew Thomas at 174lbs.
