CAMDEN, Pa. – The George Mason rowing team concluded the fall season earning two medals at the Frostbite Regatta on Saturday, November 9. The regatta was held on the Cooper River.
Mason raced five boats on the day beginning with the Varsity 4 taking the water first. The Patriots crossed the finish line first to capture their flight's title beating out TCNJ, Stony Brook and Rutgers with a time of 7:21.40.
Mason captured its second medal of the day in the Novice 8 to follow. With a time of 08:04.44, the Patriots finished ahead of Binghamton, Philadelphia and TCNJ to capture first.
Three Varsity 8 boats raced for Mason to close out the event. Mason finished in the top four in all three flights with third-place, second-place and fourth-place finishes, respectively.
