FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason swimming and diving team will face-off against local rival George Washington for a non-conference meet Saturday, marking the last time the Patriots compete before the Colonial Athletic Association Championships on February 27th. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m. and will be held at the Charles E. Smith Center Pool.

The Patriots are coming off victories over American and split results over Army when they hosted the schools in a tri-meet last weekend. The women held a 235-47 advantage over American and upset Army 165-135 while the men defeated American 230-70 but fell to Army 183-117.

The Colonials recently were victorious in their dual with district rival Georgetown. The women in the last event of the day were able to upset the Hoyas 147-146, while the men took a 145-135 victory.

Mason and George Washington saw each other earlier this season at the Patriot Invitational. The Colonial women took third place just ahead of Mason in fourth. The colonial men finished sixth, while Mason came in second.
