FAIRFAX,
Va. - This week's Rookie Profiles features Katie Kitts,
Sarah Kleinfelter and Caitie Warren. Kitts is a native of Lynchburg, Va. where
she attended E.C. Glass High School. While at E.C. Glass Kitts was an
all-conference honoree for three years. Kleinfelter attended Fauquier High
School and is from Livley, Va. She received all-state, all-region and
all-district honors in her senior year. Warren is a native of Chesapeake, Va.
and attended Hickory High School. In her junior and senior year she helped
Hickory to back-to-back state appearances and regional championships.

What
is your favorite part about George Mason University, so far?
Warren:
The
softball program the people in the area.
Kleinfelter:
The
food, for example Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A and Red Hot and Blue.
Kitts:
The
opportunity to be on a sports team.

Why
did you choose George Mason University?
Warren:
The
location of the school.
Kleinfelter: The
softball and accounting program.
Kitts:
It
was close to Washington. D.C. and far enough away from home that wasn't out of
state.

How
did you get into softball?
Warren:
I
started in Little League and then AAU.
Kleinfelter:
My
dad, he played baseball.
Kitts:
My
family.

What
are your goals this season?
Warren:
To
hit more consistently and get stronger.
Kitts:
To
be successful on and off the field, including having a high GPA.

If
you could go back in time throughout history, what would you change and why?
Warren:
I
would have warned everyone about 9/11 and tried to prevent the tragedy.

If
you could meet any celebrity dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Warren:
Bill
Gates, so he could teach me how he became rich and about business.
