FAIRFAX, Va. - Senior
John Schmitz of the George Mason men's swimming and diving team was named diver of the week as announced by the league office on Tuesday, marking the
third time this season Schmitz has received the honor.
Schmitz's strong performance
helped the men split their home meet against Army and American. He took second
and scored a new personal-best of 298.25 in the 3-meter dive and took fourth in
the 1-meter dive with a 267.00 mark.
Swimming and diving
returns to action January 26th when they make the short trip to
George Washington. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
