NEW ORLEANS, La. - For the first time this season, the George Mason men's cross country team broke into the latest NCAA Division I Regional regular-season polls released by the USTFCCCA on Monday, September 17.

Mason, who was ranked 13th in the pre-season poll, is currently ranked 9th and joins fellow CAA contender William and Mary. The Tribe dropped four places to number seven this week after being ranked third the previous week.

The Patriots are coming off a strong second place finish this past weekend at the William and Mary Invitational. Mason will look to continue their success in the Mason Invitational on Sept. 29th, which will mark Mason's only home meet of the season. To see a complete list of the rankings click here.
