George Mason junior pitcher Michael Bowie was recently named to the PerfectGame.org Top Performers list for his performance in the Cal Ripken League over the summer.
Bowie played for the Southern Maryland Nationals, where he compiled a 2-1 record with a 3.92 ERA in eight
starts. Over nine total appearances he struck out 51 and walked 24 in 43 2/3 innings of work. Bowie was named a league All Star, and fired an inning of scoreless relief
during the All Star Game.
