The George Mason track
and field team will travel to two meets over the weekend in the W&M
Colonial Relays and the Pepsi Florida Relays.
The Patriots will
look to add to the nine combined IC4A/ECAC qualifying marks recorded at the
Raleigh Relays last weekend.
Starting the outdoor season
strong, Mason currently has seven athletes ranked in the top 60 nationally,
including Everett Hackett in the 10000m (29:43.17, 2nd), Mandissa
Marshall in the pole vault (4.30m, 6th), Kelsey Reese in the javelin
(45.44m, 37th), Nick Vaughn (47.36, 36th) and Ja-Vell
Bullard (47.59, 51st) in the 400m, Cierra McGee in the 200m (24.00,
53rd), Amanda Denger in the heptathlon (4,674 pts, 53rd),
Gustavo Osorio in the decathlon (6,121 pts, 58th) and Rachaunn
Ruffin in the 100m (10.57, 59th).
W&M Colonial Relays

The George Mason track & field team will take part in the
W&M Colonial Relays over the weekend on the campus of William & Mary.
W&M will be providing a live video broadcast of the Colonial
Relays with coverage of selected events both Friday and Saturday. The
cost for a single day's viewing is $5.95, or a weekend pass can be bought for
$9.95.
