The Mason wrestling team concluded their season with an end of the year awards banquet on Sunday afternoon at the George Mason University Field House.  The Patriots gave away four awards at the banquet for Most Outstanding Wrestler, Most Outstanding Freshman, Most Outstanding Leader, Most Outstanding Academics (upperclassman) and Most Outstanding Academics (freshman).  Mason would like to congratulate all the Patriot wrestlers for an impressive first year under Head Coach Joe Russell and Assistant Coach Tommy Owen.  Award winners were as follows:

Most Outstanding Wrestler: Mendbagana Tovuujav

Most Outstanding Freshman: Vincent Rodriguez

Most Outstanding Leader: Denny Herndon III

Most Outstanding Academics (upperclassman): Seth Robertson

Most Outstanding Academics (freshman): DJ Dwyer
