Raleigh, N.C. - The George Mason men's golf team is tied for 13th after the first round at the Wolfpack Spring Open on the par-72, 7,358-yard
Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
Mason was led by Kevin Yerks who carded a 77 in the first round. Zack Lauzon finished with a 78 and Alec Kormanec with a 79.
NC State Sophomore James Chapman
is tied for the lead, and the Wolfpack is tied for second after the
opening round at the Wolfpack Spring Open on the on Saturday. The Wolfpack is tied with East Carolina with a 6-over 294, and is two shots behind Lamar, who leads the 17-team tournament.
The
final round of the Wolfpack Spring Open will start at 8 a.m., Sunday
