The softball team will host the cross town rival Colonials of George Washington University on Wednesday for a midweek non-conference game at the Mason Softball Complex.

The Patriots come in to this game following three tough losses to James Madison, while GW will enter the contest having just split a conference doubleheader with Saint Joseph's.  Mason and GW have already played once this season, in Mason's first game of the season.  The Patriots won that game 5-4 and are hoping to get another win in order to build momentum for the second half of conference play.
