George Mason lacrosse concludes this season-opening six-game homestand welcoming UAlbany to Fairfax for the first-ever meeting between the two programs in history. The meeting also takes place on Mason's annual Power in Pink game.

Mason is coming off a tough loss to Boston and will look to close out this homestand with a triumph over the Great Danes. Mary Schwartz continues to pace the Patriots with eight goals on the season, while Caitlin Formato and Emily Ellisen both have seven. Kiersten Jauschnegg owns a team-best 15 caused turnovers, while goalkeeper Brittany Pastrana has earned the start in all five games, accumulating 40 saves.

UAlbany comes into the meeting on a two-game road win streak, having picked up wins over Marist and Siena. The only loss this season for the Great Danes occured at then-No. 3 North Carolina. UAlbany is led offensively by Ariana Parker with a team-high 14 goals, while both Mel Rorie and Jenn Primeau lead with 10 ground balls. Anna Berman and Brett Yenger have split time in cage, recording 23 saves.
