George Mason lacrosse
plays game five of this six-game homestand welcoming Boston University to George Mason Stadium for the fourth time in program history. The all-time series is now tied at 4-4 after the Terriers took the matchup last season in triple overtime, 14-13.
Mason will look to rebound from an 11-6 loss to George Washington on Wednesday. Allie Hilderbrandt scored three goals for the Patriots, while Kiersten Jauschnegg recorded five caused turnovers. On the season, Jauschnegg leads Mason with 14 caused turnovers and Mary Schwartz owns a team-best eight goals. Brittany Pastrana has earned the start in all four games in cage, recording 33 saves.
Boston University enters Saturday's match with an 0-2 record, both on the road to start the season. Danielle Etrasco leads the Terriers this season with eight goals, while Elizabeth Morse has three assists.
