The softball team is set to host the Cherry Blossom Classic on Friday when they welcome the University of Albany Great Danes, the Bowling Green State University Falcons and the Cornell Big Red to the Mason Softball Complex.

The Patriots will use this tournament as one of the final tests in the season before the start of conference play.  With only one game next Tuesday at home against UMBC left before the conference opener next weekend at UNCW, it will be important for Mason to close this series out strong.

The Patriots will play two games on Friday, starting at 4:45pm against Bowling Green and then against Albany at 7:00pm.  On Saturday, Mason will play Cornell at 3pm and Albany at 5:15pm.  The Patriots will conclude the tournament with games against Bowling Green at 11:15am and Cornell at 3:45pm, which will be the final game of the Cherry Blossom Classic.
