The Mason men's golf team carded a team 298, four strokes better than their first round total, but slid two spots to stand in 10th going into the final round of the Bash at the Beach tournament in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Mason's senior Josh Apple leads the Patriots with a two round one-under par after earning a par 72 today to stand tied for seventh place overall at the par 72, 6,817 yard course. Kevin Yerks shot even par as well today and is tied for 23rd overall. The Patriots Zack Lauzon bested his first-round 78 with a 76 today and Casey Thompson shot a 78 to round out the scoring.

Gardner-Webb stands atop the leaderboard with a one stroke lead over Xavier. The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
