Softball will travel south on Monday to Norfolk, Virginia for a doubleheader against Norfolk State on Tuesday and then to Hampton, Virginia to play two against Hampton University on Wednesday.

As the Patriots close in on the beginning of conference play, they will look to build off the momentum of taking three out of their final four games in the Mason Invitational last weekend, including winning the final game of the tournament against Cornell on Sunday.  In those games, Mason was able to take control with excellent pitching from freshmen Tiffany Harvell and Casey Herring, as well as solid play defensively.

After these two mid-week doubleheaders, the Patriots will return home for the third and final weekend tournament at the Mason Softball Complex for the Cherry Blossom Classic.
